The research scholars of late Professor Shri S. N. Talbar have proposed the "SNT Best Research Scholar Award" for Ph.D. scholars graduating every year with effect from 2021-22. 

The award consists of a cash prize of Rs. 5,000/- and a certificate of appreciation. It will be conferred annually on the most deserving Ph.D. candidate who has completed their Ph.D. from SGGSIE&T, Nanded.
In this regard, applications are invited from Ph.D. awardees of the academic year 2024-25 (1st July 2024 to 30th June 2025).
