Notice For Students
- All the FY, SY, TY and M Tech first year (Regular and Re-registered students of AY 2019-2020) students are hereby informed that as per the Govt. of Maharashtra and UGC guidelines, no End-Semester examination will be conducted for any regular or backlog subject. However, all must complete the In Semester Evaluation 2 (ISE 2) as directed by the teachers of the respective subjects after MSE, so that ISE1 – 10% Marks, MSE-30% Marks and ISE2-10% Marks (total 50% marks) evaluation will be available for theory courses. Best of the following two performances will be used for grading of a subject.
- 50% marks based on the performance of the previous semester calculated on the basis of Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) of earned credits+ 50% marks of the current semester (ISE1+MSE+ISE2)
- Twice of the performance in the current semester (ISE1+MSE+ISE2)
- Practical evaluation will be carried out on the basis of continuous evaluation done up to 13th March 2020 and it will be scaled to get the performance out of 100%.
- Although students (Regular and Re-registered students of AY 2019-2020) will be promoted to higher class in AY 2020-2021, irrespective of their performance in this academic year.
- Modalities for theory and Practical examinations of Final Year UG and PG (including projects/internships and Dissertation) will be conveyed to students based on situation of lockdown/Covid-19. Students are advised to contact subject teachers, their guides and Heads of departments for the continuous evaluations.
- In case of any queries/clarification, you may contact first the Head of your Department in case of SY/TY/Final year and M Tech I/II year and FY coordinator for First year UG and then COE/Dean Academics.
