Schedule of Activities of Second Round of Branch Change in SY for AY 2021-22
Due to cancellations of one seat each in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering after the first round of Branch Change conducted on 15/09/2021, it has been decided to conduct the second round of Branch Change for all the S.Y. students of Institute (who took admission to F.Y. during academic year 2020-21). With reference to the letter of RO, DTE Aurangabad No.: विकाऔ /शिक्षण/२०२१/२६९६ dated 20/09/2021, the process for Branch Change of SY has to be completed by 25/09/2021. Therefore, following schedule of activities for Branch Change will be followed.

Rules for Change of Branch:
1 A student enrolled for B. Tech degree through the State admission process and also the candidates admitted through Gurudwara Board quota (who are within the sanctioned intake) are eligible as per state admission norms. The following is the eligibility criterion.
(i) CGA of first year ³ 6.75
(ii) Must have earned all the credits of the first year in first two semesters with single attempt in each head of passing.
- In making a change of branch, the strength of a class should not fall below the 2/3rd of the sanctioned strength (as per AICTE and Government of Maharashtra) and also should not exceed the sanctioned strength.
- The change of branch shall be operated strictly based on inter-se merit as reflected in their CGA. In case the CGA of more than one student seeking the change of branch is the same, their inter-se merit shall be decided based on % marks obtained at entrance test and HSC marks in that order.
The students who have taken admission to F. Y. B. Tech. under TFWS/JKPMSSS/EWS are not eligible for branch change. Such students are advised not to apply for branch change.
The list of candidates registered for branch change will be displayed before the branch transfer process begins. The candidates must remain present online with I-Card (If College I card not available you must produce the Ahdar Card/ Motor Driving License) for the branch transfer process. If a candidate remains absent for any reason, no claim in this regard will be entertained.
Due to the branch change, there is possibility of vacancies in other branches, in such case subsequent rounds will be conducted.
Along with Google Form following certificates are needed
- Self-attested Photo copies of Grade card of F.Y. B. Tech. (Both semesters) (upload the online result screen shot in Google Form)
- Self-attested Photo copy of CET-2020 Score Card
- Self-attested Photo copy of HSC Mark list
- Self-attested Photo copy of Receipt for payment of fees for the academic year 2021-22
