Smart Hackathon 2020 first day 19th Jan 2020

Our institute SGGSIE&T has organized Smart India Hackathon SIH2020 event, starting from 19th JAN 10 AM to 21st JAN 10 AM, 48 hours non-stop and day-night. This is probably the first time that such like event is taking place in the region. Out of 61 entries (collected through google form), the internal JURY (Dr. B. R. Bombde, Dr. Abhijit.V. Nandedkar, Dr. Balaji Shetty, Dr. Ganesh Pakle, Dr. Jatti, Mr.Jayant Parkhe, Ms. Sweety Nadurkar, Dr. Abhishek Tomar) have selected 20 projects together in Software and Hardware categories.

The select students are working on problem statements given by different sources of MHRD.

The Internal Hackathon SIH2020 has started with great enthusiasm as per the schedule at 9:30 a.m. The select students of 20 teams (Software and Hardware) were addressed and motivated by the Director Prof. Y.V. Joshi, Prof. S.S. Gajre and Mr. K. Murlimohan. The required components were sourced by one Institute level Start up company, from different parts of the country and very well delivered on time to the students. All the necessary arrangements like respective Identity cards, food, internet facility, tools and equipment were very well managed by 25 volunteers under the leadership of Mr. Warad.
